Our town
Ladysmith is set in the Cowichan Valley which boasts the highest mean temperatures in Canada - 21 deg C in Summer, and 7.6 deg C in Winter
The town is situated on the 49th parallel. It is a hillside community, with spectacular ocean views, heritage buildings and a colourful inner harbour. It has the warmest saltwater swimming north of San Francisco. The growth and prosperity of the town lies in tourist-recreational development. The residents are composed of a mix of retirees, artisans, forestry workers, commuters and business and professional people. We offer a friendly small town atmosphere.
